You have £50 million to spend on 1 goalkeeper, 4 defenders, 3 midfielders, and 3 strikers. You may have no more than one player from any one Premiership team.
Get your teams in before Friday 5.00pm August 18th 2006. If you submit your team early, you will be able to make as many changes as you like before the deadline.
You may make 12 transfers during the season (no more than 2 per week). Transfers must not break the above rules. Players will score in all Premiership and FA Cup games from Tuesday to Monday each week inclusive. Scores will become available as soon as possible on or after each Wednesday. Deadline for notification of transfers is 5.00pm Tuesday, and transfers will take effect from 5.00pm Tuesday. Late transfers will take effect the following week.
Please note that if you buy a player who is subsequently transferred to another Premiership team, with the result that you then have two players from the same Premiership team, that's fine - you don't have to transfer him out unless you want to (this applies to pre-season team changes too). Real life transfers are deemed to take effect in the FFL world when they happen in the real world - not when the website is updated to reflect the change. Loans are defined as (temporary) transfers.
There is one change to the scoring from last season: Man of the Match is now only worth 3 points, rather than 5. In addition, the rules will now also apply to FA Cup penalty shoot outs.
Appearance points: +1 point for part of a match; +2 points for a whole match
Clean Sheets: +2 points for part of a match; +4 points for a whole match (Goalkeepers and Defenders only)
Goals conceded: -1 point for each goal (Goalkeepers and Defenders only)
Penalty save: +5 points (Goalkeepers only)
Assists: +3 points
Goals: +5 points
Man of the Match bonus: +3 points
Own Goal: -3 points
Missed Penalty: -5 points
Bookings: -2 points for a yellow card; -5 for a red card (2 yellows count as one red)
There will be nine Manager of the Month Competitions - a combined August/ September, and then October through to May. Each Manager of the Month will win a prize to be decided by the Management Committee.
The remaining prize money will be divided up amongst the top three Managers at the end of the Season.
